A biosimilar is highly similar to a biological medicine and not to be confused with generic medicines. – Is it all Greek to you? That was exactly the problem faced by Biosimilars magazine, which we designed for Pfizer. With simple explanations and colourful illustrations, it introduces readers to the complex world of biologics and biosimilars. The key visual illustrates how a biosimilar is an almost identical copy of an approved biological medicine, and the information is interspersed with basic biological information about cells, DNA and molecules. Celestina Rogers was the scientific advisor for the project.
